A New Partnership for Impactful Learning: 10X Hub & Canadian Learning Trust

We’re thrilled to announce a meaningful new partnership between 10X Hub and the The Canadian Learning Trust (https://canlearntrust.org/)—a collaboration built around experiential learning, student empowerment, and real-world impact.

This summer, 10X Hub’s SIT Venture internship program will work directly with the Canadian Learning Trust to redesign and rebuilt their official website, giving students the rare opportunity to apply their technical and creative skills to a live project with real-world stakes.  This program is fully sponsored by the Canadian Learning Trust and therefore, it’s offered at no cost to students.

What This Partnership Means

Through this partnership, high school students selected into SIT Venture will join a fully simulated IT company environment where they take on roles such as:

  • Project Manager

  • Business Analyst

  • Product Manager

  • UX/UI Designer

  • Developer

  • Tester/QA Analyst

Together, they’ll operate like a real tech team—running meetings, coordinating tasks, solving problems, and ultimately delivering a fully redesigned and modernized website for CLT.

In this internship, students will attend industry workshops, work with expert mentors and practicing real office etiquette – just like working as a co-op in university.

Why This Matters

The Canadian Learning Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing access to learning resources for Canadian youth. By partnering with 10X Hub, they’re not only improving their own digital presence—they’re also directly investing in the future of the next generation of tech talent.

This hands-on collaboration reflects what SIT Venture is all about: giving students a safe, supportive space to simulate the professional world, just like how flight simulators train future pilots. Here, mistakes become learning opportunities, and every challenge helps build confidence, skill, and career readiness.

A Real Project. A Real Client. Real Learning.

This isn’t a classroom exercise or theoretical project—students will gain authentic experience working with a real client, solving real problems, and delivering real results. The Canadian Learning Trust will benefit from a professionally managed development process, while students walk away with a portfolio-worthy experience and valuable soft and hard skills that go far beyond the classroom.

We’re proud to collaborate with CLT on this mission-driven initiative—and even more excited to see what our student team creates.
