This week, some of our awesome August workshop students kicked things up a notch by meeting with the small business owners they’ve been designing websites for! In these student-led, one-hour virtual sessions, they worked with the business owners to review their websites and make some quick design tweaks. But it gets even cooler: our student volunteers are creating 4-5 easy-to-follow Clipchamp video tutorials, showing the business owners how to update their sites on their own. It is like giving the business owner the keys to their own website! The business owners will be able to keep things fresh without needing extra help in the future. Our students aren’t just web designers—they’re learning business skills, building confidence, and making connections, all while mastering WordPress and AI. Way to go!
